Mohamed Ali Mosque is a vision of beauty and resistance known as the Alabaster Mosque due to its extensive usage of marble. It was built between 1830 and 1848 AD to be a replica of the blue mosque in Istanbul and act as a symbol of independence and freedom against the Ottoman Kingdom. The mosque is very captivating with its Ottoman style.
