Your 2 days Cairo tour from Port Ghalib by plane begins when you get picked up from your hotel in Port Ghalib to the airport of Marsa Alam then fly to Cairo where a tour guide will be waiting for you and accompany you to:
Giza Pyramids Complex
Giza pyramids complex is where the heavens left a mark on this holy country and felt through the mighty three great pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. The Great Giza complex also has six little pyramids, the great sphinx, and the valley temple.
Pyramid of Khufu
The great pyramid of Khufu is a miracle from the beyond as it is the last intact monument of the seven wonders of the ancient world. It was constructed in 2580 BC using 2,300,000 pieces of limestone blocks each weighing 2.5 tons with a workforce of about 100,000 free skilled workers. It is 147 m (481 ft) tall which makes it the tallest building in history for the last 3800 years and inside lies an incredibly designed interior.
The Great sphinx
The guardian of Egypt is 73 m (240 ft) tall, 19 m (66 ft) wide and comes in the form of a mythical creature called the sphinx which possesses the body of a lion and the head of a man believed to be king Khafre to showcases his might and wisdom.
The Valley Temple
The Valley temple was constructed in the old kingdom (2686 – 2134 BC) to hold the mummification process which was also a very well-preserved archeological site as it offered priceless details about the mummification process and mortuary rituals of ancient Egypt.
Enjoy your lunch at a pyramid / Nile view restaurant then continue your 2 days tour from Port Ghalib to Cairo by visiting:
Al Muizz Street
El Muizz street is a unique site with a holy aura that has been communicating with people in a special way. In fact, the street came as a separate yet attached fabulous site to Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Such a terrific landmark has been announced as the axis of so many religious and economic resources that always managed to turn heads, making tourists eager to devour more about Old Cairo and the atmosphere that used to engulf it.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar
Khan El Khalili is a marketplace from the heavens known as the golden brick road of the Middle East. The street dates to 970 AD and remains quite active. It has amazing vintage cafes and shops that date back countless generations. All the phenomenal Islamic architecture and decorations of the street are in a very intact condition which will send you back in time to the great golden Islamic age.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant then you will proceed to visit:
Salah El-Din Citadel
For more than 800 years, Saladin citadel has been the divine eye in the sky watching over the city from any harm. It was built in 1182 AD by the great Ruler the victorious Salah El Din and served as the center of the government for 700 years and a powerful fortress against foreign invaders like the crusaders & napoleon's French troops. Within the citadel lies a number of museums, miraculously structured buildings, art galleries, and more.
Mosque of Mohamed Ali
Mohamed Ali mosque is an alabaster mosque due to its unique design and the extensive usage of marble. It was built between 1830 and 1848 AD to be a replica of the blue mosque in Istanbul and act as a symbol of independence and freedom against the Ottoman Kingdom. The mosque is very captivating with its ottoman-style architecture and the possession of an ornate brass clock a gift from King Louis Philippe of France to Muhammad Ali in 1845 in exchange for an obelisk that stands in the Concorde square in Paris.
