Abu Simbel temples
You’ll be totally surprised upon your arrival as you’ll find two massive temples in Abu Simbel, one of them is dedicated to Pharaoh Ramesses II who was a great king during the 18th dynasty and he built his great temple to celebrate the date of his coronation and also to commemorate his victory in the Battle of Kadesh.
You’ll also hear the story of the fantastic Sun Festival that is held twice in that temple and you’ll be a truly lucky person if you could witness it on October 22nd or February 22nd. That is not all, as you’ll get the opportunity to visit the temple of his wife “Queen Nefertari” whom he loved so much and wanted every generation to know how much his love was to her.
